Senegalese president Macky Sall has discussed Africa’s future with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping in prelude to the G20 summit holding in China.
Macky Sall is participating in the G20 summit in his capacity as Chairperson of NEPAD Heads of State and Government Orientation Committee.
During discussions Xi Jinping said China is ready to keep promoting the resolutions of the China-Africa summit discussed in Johannesburg last year and expected to enable Africa accomplish its self-development.
During that summit(China-Africa summit) the Chinese president had promised investments in Africa estimated at around 60 million dollars.
Beyond the multilateral issues, the situation of bilateral relations between Senegal and China were also discussed.
Macky Sall appreciated the long term support from China.
President Jinping says China will like to enhance communication with Senegal in trade cooperation, security and international affairs.
